In his globally acclaimed book, Cradle to Cradle, William McDonough advocates a new design philosophy moving beyond the light green eco-efficiency design developed in the 1970's to a medium green eco-effectiveness design performance.  Mr Mcdonough's re-design and re-engineering paradigm has set into place the potential to reopen the technology loop and re-integrate business systems, services and products with the natural economies of Planet Earth for optimized economic and ecologic profit:  In effect: Eco2 Business Systems

In Cradle to Cradle, Mr. McDonough makes reference to his personal observation in China that Deep Green Technologies, LLC founder Duane Tant also made in Burma in the mid-eighties:  Taking a train from Rangoon to Mandelay, we stopped frequently at villages along the way.  As vendors came to the train window, I soon realized that the food being sold was wrapped in locally grown leaves and other natural materials as well as all the products sold were naturally biodegradable.  As the train pulled from the station, the passengers just dropped "Littered" the packaging materials out the window.  Already an "eco-centric" individual, I admired this concept of recycling at the time but did not understand the implications of this practice and concept until Mr McDonough mentioned the words PleaseLITTER at the Environ Design conference in Atlamta in 2001.  I was energized by the engineering possibilities and have been looking for a way to put this concept into business ever since.

PleaseLITTER.com is one element of this re-integration for Eco2 Business SystemsTM formation.  Eco2 (Economy / Ecology) Business Systems are being designed with the stated business objectives of Competative Market Advantage, Green Goodwill, and Risk Mitigation--and of course economic profits--at a minimum.

PleaseLITTER.com intends to make available those products, services, and Eco2 Business SystemsTM that are Environmentally Integrated as envisioned by a Deep Green design paradigm.  As we make our journey from the eco degradation effects of the industrial design model through eco efficiency, William McDonough's re-design and re-engineering paradigm of eco effectiveness positions our businesses to open the loop of re-integration with the natural economies and systems of Planet Earth for Eco Optimization of their business systems.
